Looking for an affordable dine-in breakfast in St. John’s? You can’t beat a Newfoundland favorite, the super-wacky and fun Jungle Jim’s Eatery. Available at their Topsail Road St. John’s location only, you can grab a breakfast starting at $4.99.
It’s worth noting that the $4.99 deal is fairly basic, including some toast, eggs, and choice of meat. The cost quickly rises if you add things like juice or coffee, fries, or choose one of the larger options. Still, with the remaining breakfast choices coming in at under $10, you’re sure to get a good start to your day at an affordable price.
Breakfast availability and pricing varies at the other Jungle Jim’s locations across Newfoundland. As far as we know, Topsail Road is the only one with this deal.
Jungle Jim’s island-wide locations are most recognized for their fun, family-friendly atmosphere and promotions like Wing Night Wednesday, Steak-Tacular Thursday, flash sales, birthday deals, envelope of fortune, and more.
Pizza
One of the best deals in the area on Pizza remains Big Cheese Pizza. While they’re technically no longer located in St. John’s after moving to Mount Pearl on Commonwealth Avenue, it’s still a deal worth mentioning. At the time of writing, their 18″ jumbo with cheese and 4 toppings goes for $17.99 + HST.
Big Cheese has also expanded their offerings into more than just a pizza place, with a dine-in restaurant offering other foods such as tacos, fries, donairs, nachos, and more. You can also grab a classic lunch favorite of a pizza slice + drink for $5 tax included!
Sandwiches & Hot Meals
Located in the heart of St. John’s on Merrymeeting Road, Fabulous Foods has been serving up delicious family fare for years and has become a local staple. Specializing in turkey pies and baked goods, you can also find some other unique items on the menu such as Newfie Steak Dinner, Turkey Dinner, Fish & Chips, and their delectable turkey rolls. Prices are quite reasonable and service is quick! You can even order ahead or delivery using Skip the Dishes on their website.
