Many kids who grew up in St. John’s, Newfoundland during the 90s have had the unforgettable “Totally Tubular” jingle stuck in their heads since then. It has even been discussed online with people trying to bring back this nostalgia.
But what feels like a dream was a real thing. Totally Tubular was the place to go for birthday parties and kids fun. Whether it was the tubes, ball pit, computer room, or VR, there was all kinds of fun.
It seemed like a figment of our imaginations, especially since their TV commercial seemed to live only in our heads for decades.. until recently.
On December 12, 2025, Planet Newfoundland uploaded a video of local Newfoundland TV commercials from 1998.
And right at the very beginning is that Totally Tubular commercial we all remembered.
