Thomas Amusements: Newfoundland’s Traveling Amusement Park

If you’re from a bigger city you’re probably used to having things like ferris wheels permanently affixed to the ground. But in Newfoundland, things are done a little differently!

Due to the province’s size and demographics, one company has found success in operating a mobile amusement park which travels from town to town during the summer months. From June through October you’ll find Thomas Amusements making scheduled stops in Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Springdale, Bay Roberts, Paradise, St. John’s, and more!

Rides are available for all ages, though some do have height/age restrictions. You can also enjoy games, food, and treats like cotton candy!

Wondering where to find Thomas Amusements next? Check out their schedule.

Their ride lineup includes new thrills and classic favorites like The Rock-o-Plane (also known as “The Cages”) and The Scrambler.

So if you’re seeking a thrill this summer, find out when Thomas Amusements is rolling into town!
