It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Santa is busy but he always makes time to show up at the various Christmas parades across Newfoundland. Find the dates of this season’s parades below.
Downtown St. John’s Christmas Parade
The annual Downtown St. John’s Christmas Parade is the biggest Santa parade in Newfoundland, drawing over 50,000 spectators each year. The parade features about 100 entries and 5000 participants, and creates one of the busiest days of the year for many downtown businesses.
Santa and many beautiful floats and performers depart from the Fort William Building on Factory Lane, traveling along Plymouth Road to Duckworth Street, then west to Prescott, Water Street, and continuing along Water Street with the finish at Springdale Street.
